RIP Taste of Blue Ash

Recently in the Blue Ash newsletter it had an article on the annual Taste of Blue Ash being eliminated. To my knowledge or awareness this was not a discussion item at any of this year’s recent city council meetings. I had missed one meeting since the beginning of the years. I checked all the published minutes since the 1st of the year and none had the word “Taste”. This is starting to sound like decision by the Administration to me!

So I dug a bit further and found a reference on the end of the December 14, 2017 minutes, which by the way, lasted well past 11 o’clock at night. It was after all the audience had left after the lengthy discussion about Summit Park apartments. You can listen for yourself to a tape recording Taste of Blue Ash.

The audio at time index 3:26:23 and can be heard at link that follows {http://www.robryan.org/index.php/11-political/39-summit-park-development-public-hearing-at-blue-ash-city-council-12-14-7pm} or using a shorter URL see https://tinyurl.com/Ryan-Dec14

It was an Administration decision.

Also below is excerpt for the 12-14-17 minutes and a link. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Parks and Recreation Director Chuck Funk reminded Council of the memo they received concerning the overview of the 2018 special events schedule. One of the major changes to the schedule was the elimination of the Taste of Blue Ash.
